I see I'm the first to get to post on this new thread
So what can I find to write inside my head?
I need to come up with something really amazing
But all I can think to rhyme now is 'cows grazing'

while not smoking pot..

Up to old tricks - and rhyming of pee
and barf and of dudes
with poop-head alludes
So much in the strength of this power of "we".

(Sitting with another addict )

Today I sat with another addict discussing the affect , As we talked amongst each other I felt so much respect,
I used to think I was alone until I met people like him , they made me realize that my life is not so grim,
We shared our story's, our experience strength and hope , now I don't feel so lonely people like him help me to cope,
You might not even notice but you helped me so much , thanks for sharing your story I hope we keep in touch

for a Happy Thanksgiving to my limerick friends

And have turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie without end

then stumbled out the door

he inhaled three more slices then started to cry

shoulda reached for the berry
instead of the cherry
i'm glad this is just fiction and not the truth

On this journey
Life gets better
But some of the damage
Can last for ever
Some days are tuff
With pain comes trouble
Who knew staying clean
Could be such a struggle
When you get better
And you realize
Drugs are not the answer
There the devil in disguise
So just try do it
One day at a time
Get rid of that devil
Out of your mind
