Hope you had the sweetest of dreams. Speaking of which . .

I treasure my dreams, great entertainment. I usually 'manufacture' my dreams, at least in the beginning. One of my favorites is to imagine I'm in a tennis match against a guy who is just a little better than me. At the beginning of my sleep/dream stage I'm pretty good against him, nice backhands, overhead slams, drop-shots, etc. Then (and this is where it gets weird) he starts beating me. My made-up dream can't control it. And it's at this point that I consciously (!) realize that my dream has taken me from semi-awake to Full Dream Mode.

What do you dream about?

I used to have dreams of falling or flying combo . I'm a big time Googler of any thing , falling would mean losing control of your life someway . Flying was setting yourself free of something .

Some were cause I'm afraid of highs , I would wake right up trembling . So scared I couldn't go back to sleep .
The flying ones I really liked . always liked seeing Eagles Soar , they look Beautiful & Free
I get on user stream & watch Eagles nesting & raising their young . Up until the fledglings leave the nest . That's amazing to watch , sometimes heart breaking when things don't go right . Life goes that way ..

How do I say this without getting into a political issues , cause I don't follow those things very much . I'm not a voter , not that I don't want to help my country . Due to my anxiety & health problems , I don't think I could handle having to do jury duty . Besides all of that I'm with Bernie all the way
I have even used his programs in my personal life .

I love Bernie Sanders. I think he is too left-leaning to get elected though. He refers to himself as a democratic socialist Look out!! Reds under the bed!!!

I have an incredibly vivid dream life. Anyone ever had lucid dreams? Freaky....

Nest, I'm sorry to hear you have anxiety and health issues. You sound like a really stoical person to me xx

Oh S*** Lost a nice long post to time out . Oh well Tooshabby If Bernie Sanders wins . We will have "Presents Chicken Day "
What you think saoutchic

Not so much vivid dreams , but Frank said he did ?

Had anxiety sense I was very small . Dr's never put their finger on it . Said I had asthma , when I couldn't catch my breath . Smart ones
So I learnt to stuff & hold back a lot of feelings . Actually just got treatment after I quit drinking 2 years ago
Most health problems I have is from drinking ,

How are you today . Hope Good ??

Feeling slightly better. It's just nowhere near worth the damage it does to my self-esteem and self-confidence. It seems to get worse now with every slip up. I'm hoping that's a big sign I'm over this crap and am going to change, finally.

Anxiety since very small? Were you in a frightening environment? Don't answer if that's too personal....

No problem Tooshabby , I've posted a lot on SR trying to help others , deal with their past . I don't mind telling . Both my parents were alcoholic 's , drunken parties almost ever night . Road with them that way . Long nights listening to fights between them . Stuff braking , Mom screaming . Pretty Crazy stuff .
I had food , clothing , & a roof over my head at least

I must have missed that muffin recipe....go Frank!!

That's the exact same upbringing I had, Nest. It's not rocket science we ended up anxious wrecks that flew to the bottle. Onward and upwards!! If you can do it, maybe I can too :-)
