I write poems, during insomnia. heres one
Waves crash; water trickles against my feet.
Looking at the ocean, its a lot like me.
One minute, peaceful and calm.
Weather changes; dark, crashing,clouds cover above.
As night falls, even the most dim star shines in darkness.
A flicker of hope and beauty,
On this bad night; the star is still there.
The sand beneath me is soft,
Can't help but wonder;
If I will sink forever.
Sink with my thoughts;
Stop breathing but be at peace.
My SOUL is the ocean,
My THOUGHTS are the night.
My HEART is the star;
Sinking beneath the dark, soft sand...
