6 AM on the East Coast. 1 week sober today and dedicating to another 24! I have a 22 hour day with work and getting back to the West Coast, but I'm watching a beautiful sunrise over a lake in upstate New York before work.
In my drinking days I'd be trying get every last moment of sleep and then shower/mouthwash out the smell of rum. Life is much better sober so far!

Thanks V!......what a sweet friend you are. (((V)))
Isn't it great to leave those days behind! Enjoy the sunrise in the literal sense and also for what it represents in your new life.
Safe travels.

Signing in for 24 hours of sobriety on Day 71 and 133 in the last 134 days. It's a long weekend here in the USA, so this is also the start of sober weekend #20 for me. I'm heading for a jog now, then going golfing with my brother after we get out of work early, then heading to our parents' summer home on a lake for the full weekend. Will be hiking, boating, and just relaxing the whole time, booze free!
6:10AM in NYC.
Happy 4th of July to everyone in the USA!

5:32am Good Morning, Everyone! Committing to 24 more hours of sobriety. Feels like a chilly WI morning. I hurt my back yesterday so I am still in bed with my cats. Going to take it easy so I can heal this pulled muscle. Have a great day!
Thanks for the new thread D love the quote

24 more please. 7:40am on Thursday. Last day of work before a long holiday weekend. Going into it with a strong mindset...I will not drink no matter what...drinking is no longer an option...I am a non-drinker.
