Thank you Dee for our new thread. My Sponsor's belly button birthday is today. And my hubby's band is playing locally .....we're combing the two events. So, I'm checking in early so I can get ready. My prayers to GG, and to our friends who need some TLC today. I'm here to check in for the next 24 hours of my recovery. Grateful to my HP, AA, and you here on SR.

Morning from the UK.
I'm keeping it simple today:
**sieze the day**
I'm tired and it's raining so I'll be taking my own advice in the best, gentlest way I can. I'll potter around the kitchen and make a cake using up those bananas that are past their best. I'll absorb some of the exuberant energy from my kids. I'll take a vitamin and do some stretching.
It's going to be a good day.
Wishing my SR friends a fabulous day.
Prayers for grtgrandpa and his family and for anyone struggling or hurting today.
Thank you for another day in recovery.

Good lord I am tired! I know this sounds weird, but being tired but sober feels really good. I mean, provided I'm home and about to go to bed.
Am I even making sense here?
Basically, passing out sucks compared to hitting the mattress because you are legitimately tired after a long, productive day.
