Got couple bad news yest regarding my health. It was so mind consuming that slipped my mind signing in! Emailed my dad but to no surprise got no response but did speak late last nite to sponsor & told him only what I could to him. The thot of picking up didn't cross my mind then nor now & for that I'm very ,very grateful. Thanks to the good Lord, solution in the wonderful program of AA & daily online @ SR, I'm sober. Heard a lady speak on Thur nite mtg say that we shall all get to that jumping off place in our lives & two things will either happen: land on both feet or grow wings & fly. I'm not the sharpest knife in drawer(pwahaha) so was waiting to hear the punch line & boom- I got it!!! So talk bout perfect timing coz it's really helping me
Been saying Thy will be done, the whole serenity prayer over & over. The line esp "accepting hardship as a pathway to peace" is what I've been meditating on. So wanted you guys to know where I'm. Another 24 will help

1New. Sending you healing thoughts, I know with the love & support here on SR and in your program you will be a better person. I tend to think to myself in challenging times .." I know I'm to learn a valuable lesson here, I just don't see it right now." I have Faith.
