Enjoying a sober valentines evening. Today has been good. Been busy.
Dinner with my gf and fun day overall.

Been reading for past hour or so.
80 % through reading The Stand by Stephen King. It's getting good!

Taking a break now from reading to Watch NHL hockey. Toronto vs Montreal. And that is that!

Hope everyone is well!

I blinked a couple times at that "Fabulous at Forty" thingy.

And then I blinked again.

Then I started a PM to Dee to say, "Wha?"

Then I figured it out.

Thanks for starting this 40th edition of the "24 hour" thread, Dee.

Just a couple of guesstimates on our Thread Part 40 (thanks Dee) --

Since the new 24 Hour Recovery Connections thread started on June 4, 2014, we've had more than 19,500 posts. That's about 76 posts here per day. The number of people who sign in daily ranges from about 52 to 70, and averages around 58. The total number of people who've signed in here at least once since the thread's inception is 460 as of today, but it will probably be more tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone who makes this thread happen! It's a great reminder to connect with our commitment on a daily basis.

That's why I was blinking.

It's what I do when I'm confused.

I'm still easily confused...you didn't want to know me when I was drinking.

My all time favorite Stephen King book! Dating myself, but I first read in the late 70's or very early 80's. I've re-read it quite a few times since then..

Checking in tonight with another 24 hours down and going for another 24 hours at 8:56p CST.

Congrats to some very special friends today on reaching new milestones: VikingGF, HeartsAfire, Kris47, Beanie25, Soberwolf, Tootsl1, and Hevyn! To celebrate your accomplishments, we have a sticky toffee cake (I brought plenty for everyone)! Keep up the great work!!

In on the first page!

I'm ready for another 24 hours sober!

8:08 PM by the fire, although it's been warm enough that we almost don't need one. I heard peepers tonight--frogs are out already!
