Hey overs!
I get to go to the docs today. I have an infection associated with nursing that is so incredibly painful. It feels like glass shards are being ripped through my body. I'm hoping they will be able to do something about it today.

I hope everyone made it through the holidays healthy and in tact and mentally well =).

I am happy to say that I am still migraine free and it's been 25 days now. It's incredible.
We had family Christmas photos done a couple weekends ago with my mom, stepdad and brother and we had B's 6 month photos done this past Wednesday. Looking forward to getting all those back.

Manz has her four year sobriety coming up soon!

I hope all of you are well! <3

DD (DuhDave)
Don't sweat it. Steve and Chuck Conners take no offense as they are both taking the long dirt nap, but their memory still brings a twinkle to my mind, great actors both.

Toots!
That is so cool! From no family to a well balanced one! They are lucky to have you in their lives, I know most of us here are.

Gil re the parody,
I can imagine. I remember some that we sang as 9 year olds that were long before we had any first hand experience about that which we were singing!

FBL!
Whoa, I knew one that you haven't seen?? WooHoo! You weren't even born when some of the shows you are expert at were broadcast. Heck I was too young to remember Burns and Allen on TV. But I do remember the Life of Riley and Amos n Andy.

LBr,
Looks like the rooster cannot crow in more than that iteration.
Hope you pass all your tests at the docs, study hard for them.

Carlos,
Welcome back! I think we all hung out in overs longer than we needed to but that is OK too. It is hard to switch gears and names in the middle. But heck, we've been here a lot longer than many of the folks here not working for the website too!

You and I found out we are both type A's and can't get a word in edgewise so I know about wanting immediate ratification. (Sp. int.)

Drake,
Mardi Gras? In Kansas City? Pics? Feast? I even read your blog, (nicely done BTW) but no pics!.

I fixed a computer that was infect4ed for a friend today, then my new Windows phone decided it could not find the server and let me get online, check email, or send and receive messages! Even Cortana wasn't speaking to me. Got home, called Suddenlink, and all I had to do was take the battery and the Sim card out, put them back together and turn it on. This better not be a regular thing.

We are having Frold ( Freezing cold ) weather here too but not in the sub 0° cold range! Brrrr. Here 40 for the high and 19 for the low is happening Thursday night, and this is Louisiana!

Nitey nite all my "Overs." I like being an "Over" because I am so over alcohol.

I just lost a long catch up post!
Be well. Remember we are "Overs" because we are so "Over" alcohol.

V,
How you doin?

LB,
That sounds terrible to endure. Man I'm glad I'm a man! So great about the migraines though.

Oops!
It wasn't lost it is there above! Ever have a day where it felt like you'd been drinking because you can't focus or even walk straight? Not bad, just discombobulated. Guess I need to get bobulated again.

More sub-zero temps in store for us the next few days. I just have to keep reminding myself that this is nothing compared to last year...helps a bit

Talked to Mom the other day and she seems to be slowly adjusting to her new home. We have a one month care conference call at the end of the month and they'll evaluate her progress at that time.

V, sending positive vibes for a speedy recovery.

LB, sorry you're hurting. Hope the docs can figure it out.

Carlos, good to "see" ya, bud! You can hang out with us anytime

I've got to make an appointment to have my wisdom teeth pulled sometime soon. My regular dentist has been trying to get me to have them yanked for over a year now. During my drinking days, going to the dentist was one of my worst fears and I avoided going for over 20 years! I'm still working on that fear, but it has lessened greatly now with regular check-ups and an understanding dentist.

Have a great day, overs!

Hope all goes well with your wisdom teeth extraction, FBL! I'm sure you won't lose any wisdom!
