My husband and I are spending a couple nights in an Airbnb, and I'm so glad I'm not drinking. Mostly because the minute I walked into this place, which is modest to say the least, I thought to myself, "I can't stay here without a drink". Well, turns out I was wrong. I haven't had a drink and I think I'll be fine.
I'll be 4 weeks sober in 2 more sleeps. I feel so much better than I did a month ago, and everything in my life is better as a result of quitting. I do have the odd craving for alcohol, but I quickly dismiss it, and that seems to be working so far.
I'm so grateful, because my family still loves me, I have my health, I really like my work. thanks
