On the 2nd of September I celebrated 1 year of sobriety.

I am grateful for this year: time to heal and reflect.
I am grateful that my business went under: it has allowed me to start again only better with bells on.
I am grateful to my ex for having an affair: it has freed me from a dead end relationship that was doing nothing for either of us, leaving me free to grow.
I am grateful for being a single parent: it makes me see what a great relationship I have with my son.
I am grateful for mother nature: for blowing my mind and helping me stay focused.
I am grateful for music: for cuddling the pain and fear away
I am grateful for this site for holding my hand
