Grateful for a better understanding with my teenage Granddaughter, Age 13

Grateful for my other Granddaughter, Age 17, believing in Acceptance to make it easier to attend an event she was leary of, but necessary

Grateful for learning about teenagers and just love them and pray for them. They are sometimes living in their own world (a nice way to say wacky)

Grateful for our wonderful FBL!

Grateful to get up on a Sunday morning without a hangover, cook lunch for friends and look forward to them coming --- instead of struggling with a hangover.

HL: laughed at us wearing the same long johns -- that would be a big pair stretching from England to Australia!

Grateful for waking up with just enough time to have breakfast, check in to SR, and drive to my parents in time to take my Mum to church (hopefully I'll make it).

Grateful that I'm not panicking, and stressed about the possibility of being late, this would have set me up for a "bad day" in the past, now it just is as it is.

Grateful for the sunshine this morning. It will be a nice drive.

Grateful for my recovery from the illness of alcoholism which gives me so much every day that I can hardly receive it all. There is plenty left over for you guys.

Grateful for only a dim headache this morning (caffeine withdrawal). Grateful that I have caught up on my sleep.

Grateful for the sound of the baby wrens in the birdhouse in our front yard. I can hear them chattering all day long waiting for Mom and Dad to bring them their yummies.

Grateful for the beautiful weekend we are having - small storm yesterday, but all the events in the area made out pretty well.

Grateful for fresh veggies out of the garden - just heavenly!

Grateful for the start of day 7. First time that's happened since I relapsed in June. Two days here and there, sometimes three. When my birthday hit last Monday, I knew that was my day to pick, easy to remember!

Grateful for a vision of Michigan in the summer from Marjoram. Onwards, Marjoram!
Grateful to remember how bright and strange & beautiful the world looked when I first took alcohol out of my system.
Grateful to have reaffirmed to myself that I don't want to go back to seeing it any other way.

Grateful having dinner with family and seeing a glimps. of 13 year old granddaughter, LOL Maybe she will sing for us since she is in a girl band.

Grateful that I got sober and have been able to raise my Daughters and enjoy my Granddaughters (5 of them!) They are always a joy and when not, I get to leave. LOL

Grateful that I had a short sleep in this morning.
Grateful that a Sunday's entertaining was that and not a Sunday's drinking.
Grateful to get the washing done and the house cleaned so I have a free afternoon.

Grateful for a day at home on my own, I love Mondays.

Grateful that I'm spending some time researching ways to improve my nutrition, and can afford good nutritious food.

Grateful for some Eckhart Tolle audio books which remind me that the only moment we have is now.
