Best US rehab for dual diagnoses

Hello:
As you all may know mental health issues with addiction not only make recovery more complex but affect what sort of rehab will be helpful (I need one that actually has top notch psychiatry because I'm a complicated case with weird medication reactions and comorbidities). I've been an alcoholic for I suppose my whole life but since I didn't drink any until age 27 I didn't really become diagnosable until a 1.5 years ago or so. I have suffered from major depression since my teens (several suicide attempts one nearly worked) and every time I try to go off of Effexor after the withdrawal hell is over I get super depressed. I also have generalized anxiety disorder and ADHD.

Currently I'm addicted to alcohol and physically addicted to klonopin because I took it to get off the Effexor which I ended up back on and now am still on it because of all the drama though I've reduced the dose to 1.25 mg.

I need to go somewhere that can deal with all these issues as well as my alcoholism. I did two trials of strarrera and couldn't even tolerate 10 mg so I'm not opposed to a very low dose of klonopin like .5 per day if closely monitored.

I'm trying to find the best rehab to "deal with me."

I was considering Hazelden but some reviews have me concerned. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. I do need a place that takes insurance and mine will be some form of blue cross blue shield (currently living in Dubai and going to US to live with parents to get care for this and other medical problems).
Best,
skc

I think that you can find bad reviews of just about anything.
I can't recommend anything; except to say that my sponsor went through a Hazelden based programme over here and he is still sober and happy.

The Refuge - A Healing Place.com in Ocklawaha,FLA. I got back from there 2 months ago and they were incredible. They specialise in Multi-Diagnosis and difficult cases.

My son went to Michael's House in Palms Springs California and had a very good experience. A few from his group who had been to other rehabs previously said it was much better at helping them and helping the family out as well with information and guidance. We did quite a bit of research before we chose which one and one of his roommate's brother places addicts with rehabs and sober living and said it was known to be one of the best. I have also heard good things about Hazelden.
