I was invited to dinner tonight with my son and his dear friends. We went to a Mexican restaurant and we all drank bottles of ice cold Coke and enjoyed delicious food and lively fun conversation while watching the Philadelphia Phillies & Atlanta Braves baseball game. I can hardly contain my joy in being sober and able to fully appreciate the fellowship and fun and take home a wonderful memory. A situation as simple as that is such an amazing blessing to me. I am sooo thankful for sobriety tonight!
