7 months.
Well almost! I will be 7 months sober on the 17th. I felt compelled to say this hoping it can help someone out there struggling as I was and am. Back in a August of last year when I began my journey I truly did not think I could do it. But I did. Reading testimonies helped. My faith helped. Funny thing is that most of my fears have been unfounded. The fears of being rejected by friends and colleagues at functions, events and worst of all parties! Nope! People get it. Although I still crave a drink from time to time it HAS gotten easier! There are actually days that go by where I don't even think about a drink. Thank you Jesus! I would've never predicted it 7 months ago. Thank you all!!! Really! You helped me to do this! I have t felt this good in years!! May I help another!!!!
