2am Call on home #, not cell
My cell is the # freely I give out to anyone who wants it in AA.
Pamphlets what have you, newcomers, whoever.
My home # is for family and non AA friends.
Got the 2am call last night on my home #
Was worried
Wrong #
Reminded me of my drinking days.
Grateful I am not locked up, waiting for a transport ride to the Big House doing a bit with the Big Boys. I get those times when the heart skips a beat and I realize how lucky I am to be a free man, walking around with no conditions at all. I am quite suprized how lucky I am today, I could very easily have been locked up for life, with no chance at all of every getting out. My lawyer was good I guess, or maybe God had something in mind for me. Carrying the Message.
