Thank You God ... Part 14
Thank You God ... Part 14
Thank you God for letting me know that Your Kingdom is in my heart where I can access it to prevent my brain from making bad decisions. Today is a great day so far and I don't want to mess it up by trying to control it.
Thank you God for all the blessings for me and my family.
Thank you God for all the challenges you allow me as they are opportunities for growth.
Thank you God for one more day of Sobriety. All we really have is today and I try to make the best of each one....
Thank you God for being beside me during the Holidays which I find quite trying when all the others drink in my family. It would be nice to have one in my corner, tho my 2 year old nephew perhaps will suffice.
And, not to be left out, thank you for my friends on SR. I find a great sense of peace here.

Thank you God, for showing me an assisted living home that I think Dad might eventually like. Thank you God, for the resources to make a deposit on the apartment for him.
Thank you God for my wife and home and faculties which allow both of us to continue to care for ourselves without caregivers. Our Children tell us we are amazing and we tell them that our actions are possible by the Grace of God and nothing else.
Astro, I will pray for your Dads' quick adjustment to his new environment.

Thank you God, for a fairly clear and lucid conversation with my father about his progress and new living arrangements.
