Day 11 Sober. Day 2 here at SR. So grateful!
Day 11 Sober. Day 2 away from my abuser & substances. Day 2 here at SR.
I am soooo grateful for finding this site and for the kind and supportive people on it yesterday when I thought my world was falling apart. I am grateful they shard their stories with me because I felt so all alone and ashamed for what I had down...for the depths I had allowed myself to sink to.
I am grateful that life is in THE PAST.
I am grateful I have today.
I am grateful for my health, my family, my sons, my 3 grandchildren (my angels), my dear friends who never left my side thru all of this.
I am grateful for my dear BFF for the last 12 yrs who rescued me and took me away from 'that horrible place' and brought me into his home for rest, rehab & recovery.
I am grateful for my inner strength and courage and the ability to admit I had a problem (many going on all at once) and deal with it and ask for help.
There's so much I'm grateful for...I'm even grateful for the first snowfall that is heading our way here in NH! I'm in a beautiful setting with lots of trees!
I'm so grateful I survived and I have a second chance.
I'm a truly blessed.
