Grateful for finally accepting and owning my problems

Today is my first day of sobriety. Finally hit my bottom this past month. Now I'm owning my issues and being honest with myself, my loving wife, and family. I feel the weight lifting off my shoulders, the worry about how much longer I can do this before I lose it all. I'm thankful and eternally grateful for having another chance and willingness to accept it. I'm also grateful to my wife and her strength to stand behind.

You hit it when you said the word "owning." When you own your life and your problems, you find success. It's about taking control and finding the power within yourself to stay clean.

good for you now star working on yourself one day at the time, and is you have the support of your wife much better, some of us don't see until we lose everything. good luck.
