Scientific basis for 12 step?
Just ordered this book - Hijacking the Brain: Addiction, Alchoholism,12-Step Recovery - will come back with a few thoughts after my holiday on the beach!
Anyone else read it yet? The contents make it seem interesting.

Interesting. I'd be interested in reading it, as I've had an interest in Neuroscience since college.

From what I understand, that is very much discouraged. No matter that he is a brilliant neuroscientist, I think he shouldn't have publicly identified himself with AA.
