I am grateful that now a simple cookie or two can make me happy. That I can sit on my couch every nite with my kitties and not wonder if I have enough alcohol in the house to last me til I pass out and still have enough for breakfast.
I am grateful for the beautiful sober mornings free of illness, fear and confusion. I am grateful to be free of the need to drink.
