Grateful for a nice walk with one of my dogs, named Heidi. She is one of the happiest creatures I've ever seen.....no better antidepressant!

Grateful for a beef pot pie & fried fish mash-up for dinner. tasted much better than it looked.
Grateful for some rain, I took the opportunity to spread some of my parents ashes into the lawn in front of the house.
I've been having some hard cravings over the last week, but grateful not to act upon them.

Smile Thanks Dee

So very grateful I am sober cause I just saw my neighbor get busted by state troopers for a DUI.

Thanks for our new page Dee, it gives me something else to be grateful for.

Grateful that I wasn't tempted to partake in drinking any of the mulled wine that was offered to visitors to the Christmas Market that I went to today.

Grateful to be home now and able to take my boots off!

Grateful for a hot bath and a cup of tea

Grateful for being able to go to bed soon.

Grateful, as ever, for you.

The only thing on TV this crew of kitties ever seemed interested in was the animated birds on the Rock Band screensaver. Spencer was fascinated.

Grateful I said "yes" when asked to drive to Stone Mountain for today's hike. And glad I also can say "no" when I want or need to and not have to feel bad about it.

Also grateful for frozen pizza. I'm bushed after that hike...

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful I took some holiday decorations out of storage and am writing holiday greeting cards now.

Grateful "It's a Wonderful Life" is on TV.

Grateful, sooo grateful, to be feeling Holiday spirit for the first time in many years.

Grateful it will be my first sober Christmas and New Years.

Grateful that, it is indeed, a wonderful life.

Grateful for the ending of another Sober Sunday

Grateful that I've been organised, finished my chores and am now chilling.

Grateful that my son turned up for the roast dinner I'd made him.

Grateful for the simple things in life.

Grateful to you, as always.

Grateful that when I strongly wanted to leave a movie theater today, I did. Grateful my sister understood.

Grateful I can hear my still small voice.

Grateful I am remembering (its a struggle) to be patient and accept where I am. Grateful I do believe the only way forward is to genuinely accept where I am.

Grateful I have a home and time to myself to heal in sobriety.
