Grateful morning, grateful night :)
I am extremely grateful that I (or my higher power) had the strength to say no to alcohol presented in front of me this evening. I am so happy tha tomorrow will still be day 6 of sobriety 
. At first I was frustrated and dissapointed, but now I am truly grateful that I can honestly say I am sober.

Tis day 6! I am grateful for that!! Almost a week! It has been, oh I dunno, maybe 6 monthes since Ive gone a week without a drop of alcohol. I have had huge alcohol issues since I was 14...I am now 28.

Congrats Windancer. Day six is an accomplishment. It sounds like you have a good foundation for early sobriety! Hang in there.....just keep on focusing on the positive feeling and remember you are in control......not the bottle!

Thank you Drunkyjules. I am feeling quite determined and positive! I know I will have some tough times but Im confidant I can deal with them sober. I am happy to have found this site.
