looking for a secular alcoholism program

Hi. I am looking for a secular group in charlotte. I am an atheist and cannot connect the the aa program. I've been searching for a while and can't seem to find a secular group near me. I live in south charlotte, north Carolina. Any ideas?

I wonder if there would be interest in having a "virtual" sober recovery RR / SMART meeting. It could be just through chat or through skype, paltalk, etc. I would be interested in participating. Not sure if there is enough interest or if it violates any rules or whatever.

It is more or less just to compare notes and experiences. Could be a helpful learning tool.

Just thinking out loud here.

SMART has official for real online meetings. Apart from that, SR has a chatroom that gets a lot of use. We can easily shift away from the main room to the Secular Sobriety room already created, I assume for this purpose.

I am often in chat around 10 pm est (UTC -5) and can arrange to be there at that time. Or just drop by and say Hi.

I'm quite active in SMART and can personally vouch for the fact that the online meetings are great. To anyone who is curious I can only suggest you give them a try!!
