A Lot Of Gratitude Today
Hear Hear Mrsmiley
I am nearly 6 months in now and I so grateful for each sober day.
I am a firm believer of the daily goal - one day at time. Breaking my sober time down into daily achievements has made things less scary for me. I can cope with my alcoholism thinking in this way.
I am in awe of each sober day I guess and each evening go through what I have done each day. Guilt has pretty much left my life and I now have time to think, plan, dream etc as well as to devote time to my loved ones, myself and my hobbies.
Yes - bad things or stressful things still happen but it is easier to cope with these days in a sober logical practical way.
The other big plus is waking up each day to face the day with a motivation I never used to have.
