Gr8ful for forgiving myself for staying in bed so late and for giving myself time to really wake up. It's frustrating to be so tired, but cracking the whip on myself is NOT helpful. Glad I know that today.
And grateful to "officially" meet and pet the neighborhood cat my bro calls "Long Orange" (to distinguish her from "Short Orange". Guess what color she is.) She (or he?) is a sweetie.
Love & hugs,
Eddie

Grateful that I am able to be less people pleasing now with new men I meet. Grateful I don't act like I am somebody I am not. Grateful that I have been forcing myself to say I don't drink as soon as I can slip it in without saying: "Hi my name is EQ and I do not drink at all, do you still like me?" LOL
Grateful for the discernment and self respect sobriety is bringing me.

Grateful to watch AA in action tonight. At our meeting one of our guys needed some help tonight to get stuff out of his house because of foreclosure. And when a friend and I arrived at the house there were 4 others. At 9:30 pm spur of the moment we pitched in for a little over an hour and got a lot done.
Grateful for myself that first time I ever helped a move without looking for the cooler of beer..
Sleep well.

LOL is right!!
GRateful I can leave that capital 'R' there today. SEriously (I'll leave that capital 'E' there, too), once upon a time, I "had to" fix every little typo. So glad I know now that there are more important things to do...
And grateful, very grateful, that it looks like I may soon have control over my disability $$. It's hard to feel secure when your father with dementia gets your money every month.
Love and hugs,
Eddie

grateful for the positive energy i kept in my head today. Grateful for hope and patience, patience, patience....even when i'm stressed about stuff.
grateful to remember that this too shall pass.
grateful to pay the bills, cook a nice dinner and a long dog walk.

Grateful, then, for The Four Agreements, especially the one mentioned above and the one about not making assumptions. THings are also better when I don't pretend to be able to read minds or tell the future.
Grateful for lots of visiting/socializing today...even if do smell like cigarette smoke after dinner at a friend's.
Love and hugs,
Eddie
