I need help!

I am on day 7 of starting a suboxone program. I am willing to go to any length to stay off of hydrocodone. I need someone to tell me how to do it.

coming here is a great start Leah. You'll find a lot of support here

Some find face to face support is good too - have you ever thought of NA or some other recovery group?

I am attending AA meetings daily, because there are no NA meetings close by. I have a NA step working guide and am working it daily.

Does Suboxone make you extremely drowsy? I feel wiped out from it.

I will be the biggest opposition to suboxone. I am just getting done detoxing off the stuff. I have done it now 3 times. The past 2 times landed me in the hospital. This time I tapered with H. I would much rather go through H withdrawal than suboxone withdrawal. I get high off subs, which in turn lead to me taking more and more of them. Then I run out and am banging again until the DR appt.

If I were you, I'd taper and go through minor WD. If you have to, get into rehab. If you are anything like me, suboxone is not the answer.
