For more then 38 years I took opiates
and drank Budweiser.
In my younger days I loved Mexican
tar Heroin.

I also took tab T. I can't
explain the high of the drug.

Acid back in those
days was so pure; LSD 25 was liquid;
a drop or two on a sugar cube
and you would trip for hours.

I hung with a very rough group that
would fight even if you looked at
their lady. But we were a family.
My mind was trained to be defensive.
They say your mind stops growing once
you start drugs, well, I started at 14.

I admit I am childish in someways.
I need to think before I speak.

Think about the shock to my body and
brain; all at once I wasn't feeding my
body with opiates and beer. Then a year
and 9 months later I stopped smoking cigarettes
after around 40 years of smoking Camels.

I am not making excuses for losing my
temper at times or acting childish.

I was a wild crazy person when I partied
and loved by so many on the streets
of Pittsburgh.

I was known for buying the homeless
cigarettes and beer and then I would go to their
tents along the river and get high and drink.
They had a little village of tents.
The cops would leave them alone as long
as they kept it clean and zero screaming
and yelling.

Some ask me, do I miss getting high and I
say no but I miss the action at times,

God has blessed me so much, I have the
best women a man could have, and an awesome
office where I spend most of my time.

Changing my mind from how I acted for 38
plus years takes time.
