7 years clean
On June 15 I have been clean for 7 years. I was in the hospital last week for a week. I am now a full blown diabetic. I have to take shots everyday. Just something else I have to deal with. Love and Respect. Logo

I had a friend who found out he has diabetes a couple of weeks ago... he didn't have a clue, could have had it for years (?)
Would it change your life much? Probably not. As far as I know, you just have to keep an eye on things. Modern medicine is fantastic these days, When I was younger I thought of an insulin injection as an inch long needle that hurt like hell 3 times a day... ha ha... no! Its a little pen. Also, some people don't use insulin. Dunno, did a bit of research recently though.
I found out a few weeks ago that I have gastritis and gall stones... ho hum... $hit happens.
We are clean, sober and have most of our other body parts to keep us going. Thats the main thing! =D x
