do any of you know anything about bath salt addiction?

I found out this is what one of my friends is using, bath salts. Did a little research on it and so far, its a "legal drug" I see him and he has sores on his hands and wrists. Besides that, he's also into heroin. My friend is a recreational drug user. He seems to manage his drug use and be able to hold down a full-time job.

Holding down a full time job while abusing bath salts and heroin?
He will not be able to do that for much longer, trust me.
I know a girl that used to be very pretty and had her life together for the most part.
Her teeth are now just about gone, she is hideous to look at, and she gets transported to the ER often for having sickening hallucinations.
The culprit? Injecting bath salts.
Your friend is not a recreational user as you say. He is a full blown addict.
Do anything you can to help him before it is too late........

The only thing I know about Bath Salts is that they definitely cause permanent brain damage and very quickly. Not a good drug at all to be using.

I saw an episode of Intervention about a guy who snorted bath salts. He suffered permanent brain damage. It was a gut wrenching episode. I had to look away a couple of times. Hope your friend finds the help he needs.

I once knew a recreational drug user who did have a full-time job and had his life together. Too bad though that the drugs and alcoholism took his life away at a young age. I was reading that bath salts is like synthetic meth or cocaine and people use it so it doesn't show up on drug tests. I say that he's a recreational drug user because his life together.

He's not someone I see everyday. When are together, we usually don't associate with other people who are doing drugs. Normally, we stay home for the most part, my choice.

Not likely. He's been a drug user since high school. I'd thought he'd quit once he was working again. Nope, I thought wrong...

That's what he tells me and that the bath salts hes using is legal. If bath salts are illegal then how are they being sold in liquor stores?

Isn't it amazing the lengths people will go to to find a 'new' high. Bath Salts are being banned .....last week on the news was a report how people are now drinking hand sanitizer (64% alcohol content)...you get drunk--but also sick. There are even on-line directions on how to make the sanitizer more lethal.

Actually, yes, most of my friends don't do drugs from my knowledge other than some smoke weed

The bath salts people are getting high from are not sold at Bed Bath & Beyond. These are small little containers of chemicals that is never intended for a bath.
Mephedrone or M.D.P.V. are used in the stuff. A small amount was selling in Gas Stations for $40.00
It's quite bad for you, heart racing, very very bad hallucinations. Psycological after effects. I would stay far far away from it.
