hi everybody
well i completely fergot about this place. i poasted here one time and then fell into a deep drugged out blackout for a year and a half. i just thought id share with you what happened. i used to smoke weed everyday then i got on coke then i got addicted to meth for a couple months and caught myself and reverted back to weed and was uncontrollable. but now i have been sober for the most part for about 7 months. i do coke once in a while as a social drug but i have gotten my life completely under control and have no phyisical or mental addiction to any drug anymore.
oh and btw the last time i posted i was 16... now today is my 18th birthday
luckly my stupidity hasent killed me thus far

welcome back to sr. i am not sure what this post is for but keep coming back and considering quitting everything. from your post it sounds like you're still in active addiction just dropping in to say hey...

Don't get me wrong - I'm always glad when people can get themselves to better places...
but many many of us here fought the battle, regardless of the drug involved...we get off it...then slowly started to pick up again, a night here, a night there...
we genuinely (if foolishly) thought we could be social users again...and if we were lucky, that worked for a while, ....but it never lasted, not in my experience anyway.
I did other things but I've never done coke, but you'll hear from people who have.
You're young and you have your whole life ahead of you - you've obviously put in so much effort already - don't negate all your hard work and progress...don't dabble, dude.

Happy 18th - Hopefully your tapering will lead to non usage, before the grip becomes
more than you can get away from. Do what needs to be done now, before homeless-ness

I have to agree with the others - for most of us, using something "occasionally" usually doesn't last long. I know you're young, people around you are probably doing stuff, but please keep it in mind where the weed and meth took you. My DOC was crack, and there are several other people here who do/have done powder - they didn't realize the line had been crossed into addiction until it was already crossed.
