Okay is there a specific medical name for the skin crawling feeling, restless like state where you tweak out and have to jerk your body? I am trying to look for info online and I can't seem to find much, what should I search? Thank you!

I dunno about "skin crawling"...but I do know that cold sweats are known as diaphoresis. I also know that a feeling of inner tension (the inability for one to remain still/calm) is known as akathisia. I dunno if those two terms were exactly what you were looking for. It seems to me that you're asking for the physical manifestation of anxiety.

I had myoclonic jerks while I was detoxing...which are harmless. You should check with your Doctor though. Using Google to diagnose ones self never ends up well.

Sbaybay, I am not sure of the medical term for it but I had that too and it SUCKED!!! Its over now, Day 8 for me, dont worry it will get better.

I had the same symptoms, which in me were from benzo and opiate withdrawal. I am on Day 112 sober, and the awful symptoms you are going through do pass. In the beginning I thougt I would just suffer forever, but I am here to tell you it DOES get so much better.

My nose hasnt stopped itching yet and I do this crazy "rabbit" thing and scruntch it up every once and a while. I know this isnt about the skin crawling but its WORSE!! Its like a tick i have now, hope it goes away......
