The cat is out of the bag!
Ok, well my husband is now aware of my withdrawls ("the flu") and knows why. I forgot to close out the screen. He was very suprised because he thought I was still having problems...and thats why I still needed my meds. He is a little shook up that he had to find out that way, but totally understands. He knows this was unintentional, but I still feel awful about it. He says he will support me in any way possible to help me get off of this poison. Im grateful.
As for the withdrawls, im feeling like absolute crap. Cant hold anything down and can barely move bc of the body aches. Really hope tomorrow is better. Not sure how much more of this I can handle. The load has been lifted bc my husband knows and I dont have to pretend. He has found several things on this site that has been very helpful to him so he knows what to expect also. Reading about it and going through it are two completely different beasts I have found. Its terrible....feel like my thoughts are just a complete mess right now. Ugh!! Im freezing and yet sweating all at the same time. Cannot wait until this is over with. Thanks again for all of your words, it has been a blessing for me.

You are so lucky to have someone like your hubby. More of a reason to FIGHT! The worst part of detox is almost over. Hot baths, water and music!! Oh, and Netflix! LOL I'm rooting for you. I was there a few weeks ago. Hugs.
Lynet,
I was so relieved to see your post this morning about your husband! I really needed the support of my husband and family to get clean, and I don't think I could have been successful without it. At that time I was able to lean on him and 3yrs later I am strong enough where he can lean on ME if he needs to. You should be on the tail end of your physical withdrawal by this evening, so if you can make it until Sunday it's going to start getting better and better every day. As others have mentioned hot baths help a lot. Drinking gatorade and other fluids is essential as you are sweating out all of those toxins and losing fluid. It is literally poison leaving your body! If you're not feeling somewhat better on Monday you might want to go ahead and contact your doctor. Great job on your progress and you will be in my prayers.
