Today I am grateful and thankful for....

My husband.
My two lovely cats.
The nice breakfast I had and the veggies I will eat soon.
My COFFEE and $.99 cent refills!
My beautiful new apartment building.
My health.

Most of all today, I am very grateful that I am 6 days sober after almost three years of drinking all day everyday and I am not experiencing much withdrawal symptoms besides anxiety, which I suffered from daily anyway, drinking or not. I am a masochist and not very fond of myself so I truly feel as if I deserve many, many withdrawal symptoms. Perhaps they are still in hiding.

Either way, my advice to people just beginning to think/realize they have a problem with booze is STOP RIGHT NOW. It will never get ANY easier than right this moment.

I'm confused don't we already have a Today I am grateful page? I am not sure why I am asking cause I know we do I was just on it. Unless of course I have entered the Twilight Zone...

Today I am grateful I can ask questions instead of staying confused.
