I am grateful I am blessed
I am grateful for 75 days of sobriety which is bringing my life back. I have increased spirituality, a better marriage, better family relations, I can actually think through things a little better without feeding my disease.
Yesterday God sent a man to me who has a rare cancer and the only survivor on the experimental chemotherapy he is on. He lost his wife to cancer when he found out he had this one. I read the obituaries again today to make sure I wasn't in there and there was one of my students who died from pancreatic cancer at age 53 and an old farmer friend who burned the candle at both ends like I did who passed away at 76.
We are expecting our ninth grandchild and two of our children don't even have children yet!
A week from today is our 10th wedding anniversary so I am cooking up a couple of big surprises as I am truly grateful for everything.
