Quite simple really

Hello friends .

I am very grateful for the support I received on this forum in the last couple of days particularly .

It is incongruous to me than an internet forum could be so helpful to my recovery and getting back to being sober
.

It works. Better than anything else I have tried.

You all know who you are, who posted, who Pm d me ,

thank you

L

I am grateful that you found the gratitude threads Lipitor. I find posting my gratitude everyday very helpful in my recovery.

So happy to hear you are doing way better than the other night. Like, you, I really enjoy being a part of SR and find it helpful with a lot of caring people.

Have a great day!

like the title of this thread says...."quite simple". I have accomplished yet another day being sober...(not staying sober), LIVING sober.....and it was a fairly good day...even the minor annoyance with my Barnes & Noble download for "The Woman's Murder Club" was not a big deal....easily fixed...at least on one of the tablets..the E-reader, notsomuch..but it is a minor thing.

I no longer work myself into a froth over little things, another perk of sobriety.

simple is good!

I've been reminding myself that this is very simple. It is a simple thing. But it isn't an easy thing--I think that needs to be remembered.

What's funny is that when sober I am just grateful. Not for anything in particular sometimes. Just like I will smile and no know why. It's almost a cliche.

I'm feeling happier today. After reading some wonderfully supportive replies to a thread I posted yesterday when feeling very down in the dumps, I'm truly thankful for my wonderful peeps here on SR.

Oh, and I bought myself a beautiful white orchid plant today. I never used to keep them alive before, but I've been more careful of late and have managed to keep three in good health! No longer do my plants silently scream when I take them home!!

Everyday is a blessing, especially the sober ones.

I am too blessed to have found this place. It takes every member to link this chain we have here on SR. If one of those links gets damaged or falls off, the chain must be repaired! We are all links apart of this chain
