How well can a drug addict unlock a locked vehicle?

Without using the keys to the vehicle, Can a drug addict "know" how to break into a locked vehicle to steal anything that's inside?

(((SarahBear))) - yeah, they can. Most addicts have lots of "skills" that you wouldn't exactly put on a resume. If they know something's in there they want, they can just bust a window.

Addicts don't think about consequences, they only care about one thing...getting what they want. Some of the people I hung around with (while using) could break in, hotwire the ignition, steal the car, and have it being "chopped" down within an hour.

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

Nothing was of mine was broken that I've noticed. Just a few cards missing. Thankfully, I caught it and canceled them before they were used. There was gift card that had asmall balance left on it that was missing too.

I never thought about this. Always thought my vehicle was safe as long it was locked

Boy if I had half the imagination and motivation I did when using. I would be good.

Its amazing and scary at how the addicts mentality will go to levels otherwise never thought of. Crazy.
I am glad you caught it in time. Nothing is safe around an addict.

I could have and would have likely done anything imaginable to keep getting high.

I used to lock my dope in my moms closet so I couldn't get it during the night but I always did. I would unlock her bedroom door (cause she would lock it afraid I would get into her purse) and get into her closet to get my dope without waking her up. We are very resourceful when we want to get high. Scary ****
