So last night my girlfriend looked at me and said, I sure do like the new you. You're so much more alert and fun to be around. Even though I'm still having a hard time inside I'm doing my best not to let her know because she's been through enough and has stood by me. It's time to continue on my road from recovery and give her the amazing life she deserves, one day at a time.
