It's not my bedtime yet but when I do go to bed I'll be grateful to be doing so with a clear head and no regrets.

Grateful for a new bedtime thread.

Grateful I'm a good cook and I enjoyed the fruits of it with my lingonberry curried pork chops cooked in Bacon grease...yum!

Grateful I am ready to assemble my vision board tomorrow and grateful that I am not a cynical person incapable of believing in such things.

Sweet dreams grat packers

Grateful that the vision board was brought up! Newb..I am thinking it is a bulletin board type thing that you put goals on. Such as ..you want to make it to Paris so you might tack on a picture of the Eiffel Tower. OR something else that represents your happy place. See it..and believe it. It is along the lines of The Secret.

Grateful for sleep. I need sleep tonight. Night!

Grateful for the first email I've received from my little nephew Armand who lives in Georgia. He wanted to tell me he loves me. Awwwwww.

Tonight I am grateful
  • That the weather for the last two days was sunny and in the 60s
  • That for the first time in 2 weeks my car actually left the garage today!
  • Got my nails done today
  • For another sober day

Grateful that my family gave me a standing ovation for the supper I cooked tonight.

Grateful the commitments are done for the day and it is movie time with the family.

Grateful to have a cozy bed to curl up in.

So for you, SR is a "bullet'n board"... That was awful, wasn't it? I was taught "the louder the groan, the better the pun"

good one MrsC!

grateful for a peaceful and mellow day,

grateful to see an out of town sponsee tonight,

and grateful to have taken some me time out,

to look at the real underlying root of a situation.

grateful for step 4

Grateful it only took me about an hour to get over the grief my mother gave me.

Grateful I pushed my comfort level and did a little painting outside my normal realm.

Grateful for my art education which enabled me to fix a framing problem for a friend.

Grateful I assembeled my vision board and fung shuied my house.
grateful I cooked extra all weekend so I can bring lunch to work all week.

Ms CB has the basic idea of a vision board. There are many ways to do it...Oprah even likes them. Basically I've been cutting up magazines for two weeks now...my life coach recommends flipping through them fast and ripping without thinking too much. Yesterday I set up a canvas (it can be poster board I'm just using what I have) along fung shui bagua principles...basically dividing the board into different sections representing different aspects of your life (relationships, family, career etc) and the pasting stuff from my magazine clippings to the board. It helps you visualize where you are going in life...I'm a visual person so the idea has a lot of appeal to me.

Grateful I am a visual person.

Night all...xoxo, T

wow! Imagining this makes my mouth water, even though I'm still full from dinner. You've put some ideas in my head, T.

I am incredibly grateful for the tools I've learned here. I'm grateful to be able to talk myself out of negative thinking. I'm grateful that today, like most days in my life now, has been productive and left me with a sense of accomplishment and a nice mix of serious activities and light hearted, easy ones. Grateful that my home actually feels like a home, not a hovel, since I now LIVE in it. I'm grateful for the kindness of those around me and for the continuing support of my sweetheart. Grateful to be posting right now. Sleep well, everyone.

Nice post, AmericanGirl!!

Grateful that, with my parents coming tomorrow, I'm not getting in a last drinking spree. I'll be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed when they get here and will enjoy my visit with them instead of thinking about getting back to glass of wine when they leave.

Priceless!8
