So I just realized as I am working that a week ago today was my first day off the oxy! Yes! One full week and I feel much better. I have gone to the gym every day, but Sunday (which I ate a lot and watched football). I am so happy to not have to sneak around anymore to go crush up an OC. I am now dedicated to be in the shape I was less than 2 short years ago! I am still having some creepy crawlies in my arms and yawning a bit, but nothing I cant handle. I am off the suboxone totally as well and I KNOW that NOTHING will make me do another opiate.

Its awesome to see what the human mind is capable of.

Amazing isnt the word. The ONLY thing bothering me right now is all my memories seem magnafied and I feel anxious or depressed a bit. I just want to be MYSELF again. How long did that last for you guys on opiates?

I know how hard it is. I would think that after another week you'll start to feel much better. It should get a little better everyday.

Anxiety lasted for quite some time for me. The depression longer. Its different for everyone. It"ll pass when its time. No hard rules for those.

Hey juiceman, been 16 days for me and all the withdrawal is pretty much gone. Still battling a sinus infection and cough, but the rest is history. I have found that my body is colder now, meaning I used to be hot all the time while taking the oxy. Other than that I just need to get my butt back to the gym and start getting the other things in life back on track. Congrats on 7 days, and yes, the mind is an amazing thing!! It's self healing and to think we only use such a small percentage of it's capabilities.

Last night was tough as my legs and arms were going nuts. Finally fell asleep and I'm on my way to Buffalo right now for a work meeting, but I'm beat. That sucked. I'm sure its because I am off the sub oxone as well now. I did a fast 8 day taper ( 12mg, 8mg. 4mg. 2mg, 2mg, 1mg, 1mg,1mg). Feel good today, just a bit tired.
