:sigh: Pain, pain, and ... pain.
Pain ..... daily. Pain... daily. Can't take Darvocet anymore, and my doctor I know for a fact will not give me another opiate to help my pain. I am not one around this site to complain about ...... PAIN, only my past alcoholism/autism/life and such... but I cannot believe ... I just can't believe how this has happened. I am so screwed, I'm ruined. I really am.

Once I got off all the opiates I was taking.. and got some help in dealing with my addiction to them, I found that I can actually handle a LOT more pain than I thought I could. I practically thought I needed a pill for a hangnail at some point, and now I've gone med free for a few years, surgeries and all. Hang in there, see a doc. There are non-narcotic pain relief options (did you know that in some studies, breathing exercises lessened pain by almost 60% in women giving birth drug free??).
