It helps to realize that feelings aren't facts. For example, just because you feel fear doesn't mean there's anything to be afraid of. It helps to get out of your home and be around other people, get to a meeting and share about it, call someone.
Paranoia is projecting about the future. You must reel your mind back from the future and the past. See your mind as a computer -- garbage in, garbage out. See it as an unruly 3 year old kid. You can do it.
I had a wonderful dog and I constantly worried about what would happen when he died. Well, at the age of 15 he died. And what I realized was that I worried about it constantly as a way to keep it from happening. But it didn't work. So I stopped worrying then.
