First ACA Meeting
Went to my first ACA meeting Monday night. It was pretty good. I have to say I felt a little out of place being an alkie myself but then I found out they love it at this particular meeting. In fact, they call it an Alanon/ACA/Double Winner's meeting.
I've worked the steps in regards to my alcoholism. The thought of working them in regards to my family scare me. Yikes!

try 6 meetings before you decide if its for you or not. the word "god" refers to the god your own understanding. spiritual program not a religious one.
its a gentle program. you work at your own pace.
just keep coming back.
