Just a quick hello, 6 months Clean and doing great!!!
Hey people, chilly Bones here. I joined this site back in november when I began my cold turkey withdrawel from 300mgs of codeine per day, a habit that had haunted me for years and years.
I know that this is not the case for many many people but since I quit, I haven't had a single craving for codeine one little bit! Life is good know, clean, happy and full of love.
I guess what i'm trying to say is, Although you dance with the devil in the darkest deepest depths of hell for a few days, if you can get through it and be strong you really will be born again!!!
I finally feel at peace with myself and life seems more vivid to me, its like im learning how to live all over again and its just feels so wonderful.
I am still using 5htp to relax me at night and boost my mood and would strongly suggest getting some at day 5 of cold turkey. Really, its helped more than I could ever put into words!
Good luck to each and everyone of you at sr, be strong and look for the light at the end of the tunnel because when you reach it, it shines brighter than you could ever imagine

Congratulations! It's post's like this that reinforce my desire to be completely rid of this stuff (Norco 10/325). I'm on day 11 so 6 months seems like a looooooooooooooooong way 
but certainly not unattainable.
