OCD meds in early recovery?

Basic rundown: 22y.o. female, daily drinker for the past two years, I'll have two months sober on the 13th. Been on pretty much every SSRI under the sun, all prescribed for depression, only one or two has ever worked long-term. Had skin-picking and compulsive-eating behaviors for much of my life. When I was in treatment I was diagnosed with OCD. I was put on clomipramine (a generic Anafranil), which made me feel dopey and if anything made my compulsions worse. A couple days off the clomipramine combined with a missed dose of Wellbutrin yesterday, and obsessive suicidal thought patterns (nothing I would act on) are added to the mix. Met with my nurse prescriber today, who put me on Luvox--I'll start on that in a couple days.

Anxiety is making me scattered, so I'll cut to the questions.
--Has anyone else had similar experiences medication-wise?
--Does anyone have any experience with Luvox? Side effects, effectiveness, etc?
--How to escape the intrusive thoughts?

I have no experience with those meds or OCD.
But, wanted to say congratulations on your sober time, and that I hope you can work this out to feel better.

Shalom!

Hi, Tellus.

How are the meds and the OCD at this point? I'm in a very similar situation.

For me, Klonopin seem to activate a craving for alcohol (and more Klonopin).
