I mean no disrespect, so please forgive me if this sounds insensitive. My h has a nephew, who I thought was "slow." Among other things he holds his fork like a baby. If I can explain it right, it's like you make a fist and stick the handle of the fork through the circle formed by your thumb and index finger. I've recently learned that he is being treated for anxiety and depression. When my son had his break at Christmas he began eating that way. Last week when they changed his meds he went back holding his fork like he had before.
Since then I've noticed a number of patients who use that same "fisted" hold. Has anyone else noticed this? Because my son changed back, I'm thinking it was something caused by the prescriptions?

haven't a clue, but sort of interesting. perhaps meds, perhaps a quirk of being in an episode, perhaps you've just recently started tuning into the way people hold their forks? i dunno.
I've never noticed anyone changing, but I *have noticed that some people hold their forks that way -
