Have you called the police?
How would the personal car thief take it if you have the key?

Well I hope you find out who took your car if it wasn't the guy you bought it from and it's not a repo then press charges...

i don't think i can call the police. Even though we wrote out an agreement and signed it...it was that i would pay him half then and the other half when he broguht me the title to it. It took him soooo long to even call me back or even act like he was going to ever bring me a title that me and my mom seriously thought it was a stolen car and that he didn't even have a title to it.

By the time he got around to saying he'd bring me the title, i told him i was tired of dealing with him and didn't trust the whole deal so i just wanted my money back and for him to sell the car to someone else.

Soooooo......i don't have the title...so the car isn't in my name....so how could i possible call the police.

I wondered if my personal car thief, or his cocaine buddies, might know how to hotwire a car.....and took it that way? But i really think it was the guy i got it from who took it. Which i don't care ...he can have it....AS LONG AS HE WAS TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!

hm often when it comes to money deals there are two good rules to follow: never involve family and often friends as well in deals with money and never get money involved with ppl of questionable character ( often though somtimes these ppl can be tricky to spot) These can be tough things to follow especially whne sometimes you dont have a choice in a matter. Yet in my experience often grief only comes from these type deals. Hurt feelings, broken promises, betrayal.
first off in your case, do you have a copy of the written agreement? and did you get it noterized? if not then if at least you have a copy of the agreement then you can take him to court to have him return your money. if you have nothing then there is not much of a chance you will get your money back unless he has a change of heart which doesnt seem likely. i wish you all the best and big hugs!
