Hello all.
I posted in the introductions as to alcohol problems but i also have a host of MH issues. Which I'm medicated for which unfortunately leads to addiction of new substances...I honestly can NOT take medication as i should. I seem to forever be looking for that buzz..from whatever source. Shooting myself in the foot, I know...
But hopefully here i can find some support and start to change things...because i KNOW i really need to. I WANT to be well...that's all.
I dont think that is too much to ask.
I know i will never be 'cured' but i do want to achieve stability.
Finally after four years + of fighting i may be getting the proper help from the local MH team. Funny...no real support for so long, then suddenly in two days' time i have been give 3 appts for different supports...funny.
So fingers crossed that i can finally get all under control and learn how to live again, learn how to WANT to live again.
To be REALLY happy...not just the 'put on a happy face for the world' crap...
sorry...i suppose that was all over the place now wasnt it??
