Hello everybody, i have just registered for this site, over the past 2 days, i have followed Mikiglen and her story, and found it very moving along with a few others. I have a question, has anybody with a real pain problem ever been able to maintain a doctors script and actually follow it for any length of time? I have been on oxycodone 30mg 5-6 a day, combined with soma 350, i have gone through the withdrawal thing several times in the past, from not following the script, and taking more than i should have, usually 10 or so a day, this has been going on for about 6 months or so. In the past maybe 10 years ago i was really abusing zanax, lortab, and ataivan, i stoped all 3 at once, and thought i would die, i have never felt anything like that in my life, and after reading some other threads about zanax, its a wonder i didnt die. Any thoughts would be appreaciated.

I have just recently gone through a 10 day clean spell, all the bad withdrawal, it was pretty bad for the first 5 days, because the last script i got lasted 20 days instead of 30, but the meds really do help, if i could only take them like i should.

On mikis thead there is racegirl she has been taking her meds just as prescribed for a long time now she is no longer abusing them. Some of us do need them for legit pain. Most of us cant control them though. I have someone give me mine if I need them. I believe she has someone dole out hers too and now she doesnt need that go follow her story and see that it can be done. Takes will power you will have to find out if you have it or not. If not then have someone hold on the them for you so yuor only taking them as prescribed and you wont run short.

i don't know, i was in rehab years ago with a soma addict, she had a lot of trouble with the withdrawals and the cravings. personally, i don't know anything about them, as i never took them. i think they can be addictive, tho

I had a terrible addiction to soma....they claim to be non addictive ..like ultram...but some states have changed their drug class from 6 to class 5 ...which just shows you that they do have potential for abuse... but I loved all drugs..I did not discriminate...addictive or not...I would gobble them up if they gave me a buzz.. be careful ~B
