Thumbs up impaired chairperson

greetings..... I have been sober for 6 months, and working the steps as suggested by my sponsor. This week at our Big Book study our chairperson was so impaired he could not stay with the format opening the meeting or read without skipping words or putting words in that did not belong. I know i have no control over this but am concerned with a couple of new comers that witnessed this. My sponsor tells me this happened exactly as it should have. ???? Any feed back??? Just one day at a time.......

Welcome Grouperman. I tend to agree with your sponsor, meetings are not always perfect and neither are members, including me.

I think if this continued though I'd attend the next business meeting and have a group conscience vote on replacing the chairperson in that particular role.

Glad you joined us, stick around and make yourself comfortable and know you are among friends.

Hugs

I would look at it as a fine example of why we should remain sober.
