confused

Morning Glory,
Are we supposed to stay with our original thread or should I start a new one periodically. You have been so helpful to me and I want to stay in communication with you but my thread is now long and dont know if you would notice a new post.
Let me know when you have time. Jared has been difficult this week and I have been busy.

Best to you.

Sidney

Hi Sidney,

You can start a new thread when you think one gets too long.

I don't like it when they get too long either because I'm afraid I won't notice a post.

I hope you're getting some rest.

Hugs,
MG

Hi Sugar,

When someone posts and others reply it is called a thread. The more replies the longer the thread. Sometimes when the thread hits 3 pages others might not look at it because they think they've already read it. So some replies will get lost at the bottom. So when new people keep posting new topics at the bottom of a long thread I usually tell them to post a new thread so they don't get lost.

Does that make sense?

Here is the help link.

threads

MG,
Apparently I wasnt the only one confused by the whole thread idea. I just want to thank you for being there for me with the whole sexual abuse thing. For now it has made me feel better. I hope it lasts. You had some great advice. Now I will work on some other things and I will probably be bugging you.

Love and Blessings,
Sidney

Sidney,

Now you have all of us confused. How did you come in here with the name unregistered and the status of guest.

That is a first. It's got me laughing so hard.

I'm glad you feel better. Truthfully just talking about things helps so much. Especially with others who have been through the same thing.

Hugs,
MG

I think you should give everyone the definition of a wormhole. You explain it so much better than I do.

what happened to my password????

I have a hard enough time being computer literate. I registered properly and now had to get a new password that is some stupid number I will never remember. The few boards I use I pick the same user name and password because I am a dumbass and cant remember anything.

Sidney, Sidney, Sidney, the same Sidney as before

Calm down, calm down

You can change your password back to what it was. You go into the control panel(User CP) or profile and click the edit password button. Then just change the password.

Don't panic yet.

MG

Sidney,

You are not a worm, lol. Ann and I both posted as unregistered users and when Jon fixed the problem he deleted our posts. We call this having our posts swallowed by a wormhole. It creates confusion. That is probably what happened to your password. I think it got swallowed by a wormhole.

Let me know if you find your control panel.

Hugs,
MG

MG,
Thanks for your help with the password issue. Sorry to get so worked up. I did though because I am a computer dumbass and I thought I had things set here. Anyways thanks again.
Had to have jared at work with me as his vital signs were a bit shaky. Talked to his doctor and decided to take him off one of the meds.
thanks for being there for me(again)and being so patient.

Sidney

Those with PTSD are allowed to get worked up.

I'm sorry Jared is having a hard time. I hope the medication changes don't make things harder for both of you.

It's really hard to find the right combination of meds. I had to hospitalize one of my clients last week because of medication problems.

I have a hard enough time just trying to take prozac. The side effects get to me at times.

Hugs,
MG

Prozac

MG,
I tried prozac for a couple of months. It made me want to kill myself. I wish I could find something to make me feel human.
Oh well.

I want to try Zoloft. Prozac helps the stress, but I hate the way it makes me feel. I cut the dose down by dumping half the capsule out and that helps some. It really seems to exagerate my negative emotions. I think it's supposed to do the opposite. Even the Prozac has a hard time finding the positive in my brain.

I'm going home from work. I'll be back on in about 30 minutes.

Hugs,
MG
